Our Goals for
Buyers
Every good Realtor starts with listening closely to their buyer… what they want and why. As I show homes, I make comparisons (good, better, best) to each system or aspect of each home and associate them with cost, both monthly and the overall price of the home. More importantly, as we search, I provide a five (5) year analysis of each home, giving you an idea of the cost associated with the first five (5) years of ownership. This systematically narrows the list andhelps each buyer make the right choice.
Our Goals for
Sellers
Plain and simple; for every home I list, my goals are always to sell at the highest amount possible, in the shortest period of time and with the fewest inconveniences to you, the customer.
Put your home on my list and I'll insure results!
Our Best Tip When
Negotiating
The art of buying and selling homes, of course, is negotiations between a seller and a buyer. The success of either means using negotiation to result in the satisfaction of both parties... listening and learning to what each person wants and more often to what they really and truly need.
Now, the secret of successful negotiations can be put into a nutshell. It is this—See God on both sides of the table. Some people can get uptight about this, instead find your patience and claim that God is working through both of you, through yourself and through the person with whom you are dealing. No matter your perception of the “other side”, do not make the mistake in seeking by will-power to get your own way, but affirm through patience, that God’s will in that particular matter is being done.
Remember "your way" may not be at all the best way. The very thing that you want today may turn out next week to be a nuisance or even a misfortune. Try NOT to out-do the other person or persuade him or her against their will, or take the slightest advantage of anyone in any way. State your case honestly to the best of your ability; do only what you think is right; and know that God is living and working in your life ...and theirs. Then if you do not make that purchase or sale, you will make a better one instead. Didn't get the job, you'll find a better one later. Didn't make the arrangement you sought today, a better one will present itself tomorrow. But realize you must be diligent and try. If you do not put "action" behind your dreams and aspirations, you should expect very little in return.
Never allow yourself to be strained or tense or overeager. God never hurries; He works without effort. In dealing with your fellow man or woman, put God on both sides of the table. I truly believe the outcome will be true success for both parties.
Sincerely,
Tony Apotsos
